Good news! India has now arranged an air bubble with Ukraine increasing the number of countries with whom the nation has an arrangement to 17.
Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Civil Aviation Minister tweeted about this, “With an intention to widen the scope of international air connectivity, an air bubble has been arranged in place to have flights between Ukraine and India, thus increasing the number of such arrangements to 17. In addition, carriers of Ukraine and India will operate between the two nations.”
Reportedly, this air bubble is valid until 30th November 2020. Therefore, residents or nationals of CIS nations (excluding Russia) can travel on the flights from India to Ukraine. Besides, any Indian with a valid visa of Ukraine, comprising diplomatic and official holders and also destined for CIS nations (Russia not included) can board these flights.
Further, it will be for the airlines related to make sure that there is no travel barrier for Indian people to travel the country related with the specific visa category prior issuing of ticket or boarding pass to the Indian passenger.
